FLOORING WIDTHS
Here at Balsam Wide Plank, we offer a variety of widths for your custom wide plank floor. You have several options when ordering your custom floor: one width or multiple widths. If you choose multiple widths, please specify if you are ordering an equal lineal or A mill run floor. The possibilities are endless with our 12” moulder; however, we if you are looking for an even wider floor, please call our office to discuss your options.
EQUAL LINEAL
When you order an equal lineal width floor, you will receive the same lineal footage of each width ordered and would therefore be installed in a pattern.
MILL RUN / RANDOM WIDTHS
This option is great when choosing a rustic wide plank floor! Most customers will specify 3 or 4 different widths when choosing a mill run / random width wood floor. The total square footage produced of each width is based off of current inventory.
When this option is chosen, your flooring installer should install your floor randomly and will base the installation off of the square footage he/she has received of each width.
